In the last decade we have started to be acquainted with working with scenarios. The history of scenarios starts after WWII with the American military forces using the RAND Corporation for studies and researches.
According to the latest scenarios, then, the profound changes of the world economy – eastern economies boom, globalization, delocalization of production and increase in mobility – provide less certainty in predicting what is going to happen, even without considering the recent turmoil in North Africa and the panicked financial markets of the most advanced economies that have urged many economists to talk again of the danger of a double recession or of a great contraction…
